COLOR MASTERS DONATE AWARD WINNING WORK FOR INTERNATIONAL CHARITY EXHIBITION

More than 60 major works by contemporary photography masters were on exhibition and up for auction at the inaugural Masters of Photography International Charity Exhibition on Saturday, October 28th, in the city of Curitiba, Brazil.

The exhibition was presented by World Photographic Arts and featured International Color Awards and Black & White Spider Awards photographers who have donated their award winning prints to raise money for Art for Disabled Children and benefit the APADEH children's day school in Curitiba.

Basil O’Brien the curator of the exhibition and Creative Director of the award programs said, "To be able to show these stunning works for the first time as one collection is a great privilege. We are grateful to all photographers around the globe who have come together for such a good cause."

Among guests in attendance at this high profile event were state and local government officials, corporate heads and national press. The Brazilian TV personality Maria Pia presented the evenings ceremonies and interviewed guests for her TV and production company.

The exhibition raised money to build an Activity Center for APADEH, a school that provides education in a fully integrated environment for children with and without special needs. The school is based in Curitiba in the south of Brazil.
