The Awards benefit Art for Children
Art for Children
is an organization that provides children from disadvantaged
backgrounds with photographic art and cameras. Your
donations are distributed to various schools, homes and hospitals, and go
towards building an environment in which the children's creative interests can
flourish.
Last year's donations went to
Associação Paranaense para o Desinvolvimento do Potencial Humano (APADEH),
a day school in the heart of Curitiba, the capital of Brazil's southern
state of Paraná. Established in 1987, the school provides an ed ucation
for children with learning difficulties.

GRANTS FOR COLOR
PHOTOGRAPHY FUND
Funding for the grant program comes from revenues donated by International
Color Awards. The fund will award over $120,000
in grants to 220 photographers around the world over the next 10
years.
